Enjoy a walk along spectacular cliffs and watch sleek Gannets diving into the sea to catch fish, before refuelling yourself in the café. Or why not take a cruise from Bridlington Harbour to see the birds from a different perspective? Bempton Cliffs, on the spectacular Yorkshire coast, is home to one of the UK's top wildlife spectacles. Around half a million seabirds gather here between March and August to raise a family on the towering chalk cliffs that overlook the North Sea.
The huge white chalk cliffs at Bempton are impressive at any time of year. But visit between April and July, and you'll find them transformed into England’s largest seabird city. Here Puffins, Gannets, Kittiwakes and Guillemots live life on the edge. There are more Gannets acrobatically diving into the deep here than anywhere else on mainland England.

Robin Hood’s Bay offers a delightful mix of history, nature and coastal charm. It’s intriguing and beautiful. You could easily spend a day wandering through the maze of narrow, cobbled streets lined with historic cottages, unique shops, galleries and local crafts. The beach is great for beachcombing for fossils, shells and sea glass and many come here to explore the rock pools and uncover marine life during low tide.
Robin Hood Bay has a fascinating past as a smuggling hotspot with its hidden tunnels and secret passages. You can join a ghost or smuggling tour to learn its history. And there’s plenty of local pubs and cafes too so you won’t be short of finding somewhere to relax with a drink or enjoy a meal, many of which offer stunning views.

Filey Bay Whiskey is the first single malt whisky made in, and of, Yorkshire. Why 'of Yorkshire'? Because it's created by us from field to bottle, here on the coast.
In June 2016, we ran the stills for the first time and filled our first casks. Filey Bay First Release, was bottled in September 2019 and since then Filey Bay has grown and prospered.
Filey Bay Sherry, balancing the best of our distillery character with some of our rarest maturing stocks this is a marriage of whiskies matured in two types of ex-Sherry casks.
Coffee shop, You’ll find the same care that goes into our whisky also goes into brewing a proper cup of coffee at the Pot Still Coffee Shop. A locally sourced menu, homemade cakes and great food is the order of everyday.
